Ain't I

MTV Unplugged (October 2001)

This reportedly was recorded for Timbo's Shock Value, but was unfinished when it was time turn in the album. BUT, as much I can't stand Clue HORRENDOUS yelling (and I blame him for starting the "DJ yelling during the track with the reverb on high" trend), he says something actually useful this time. "New Jay-Z, Off That Blueprint 3?" Wait... BLUEPRINT 3!?!??!?!?!?!?!?.

Here we go, let the rumors fly and the countdown begin, I bet now that album is gonna come outta no where. What makes this track possibly new is it ironicly somewhats address some of the latest drama that has occured at Roc-A-Fella Records.

And may add that (beside that "Give It 2 Me Remix") this is the first Timbo/Hov calabo since "Dirt Off Your Shouders." This track shows the chemstry has not decrease, but better yet, gotten better. Jay on his lyrical A game and Timbo providing a beat with "That Knock;" or as Jay said it in "Fade To Black," "that bounce." That bridge around 2:50.... WOOOOOOOOO (Makes Ric Flair face), that shit is fire.

Hot 97 Summer Jam (July 2001). This the infamous concert where Jay first peformed a certain record called "The Takeover" and jumped off one the biggest battles in Hip-Hop history.

LANK
