"Nah We Straight!!!"
I just about died when I saw this over at J Hyphen's spot. For anyone had the nerve to say Barack was not "Black enough" (*cough* Ving Rhames *cough*), check out what happened when he dropped in at Ben's Chili Bowl in D.C.
More importantly, pay close attention at the 0:58 mark. This is EXACTLY why people gravitated toward President Obama (Ha! Now I can finally say that), he's one us. And that's what a president should be. A true representation of the people. Tuesday is going to be one hell of a day.
And on that note... I'm out.

Your Friendly Neighborhood... Obama?

(From Yahoo.com)
U.S. President-elect Barack Obama is pictured on the cover of a special edition Marvel Comics' weekly Spider-Man comic, in this handout released January 8, 2009. Marvel editor-in-chief Joe Quesada said the idea for the "Spidey meets the President!" edition came from a statement from Obama's campaign listing 10 little known facts about the Democrat who will be America's first black president.

This is TOO ill... (Off to Dark Horse Comics @ Citywalk).

"You Shot Me! I Got A Four-Year-Old Daughter..."
(From KTVU.Com)
OAKLAND, Caif. -- Law enforcement officials urged patience while they investigated details surrounding the fatal New Year's Day shooting of a 22-year-old man by a transit agency police officer. Bay Area Rapid Transit Police Chief Gary Gee said on Sunday that the agency is "committed to completing an unbiased, thorough and detailed investigation" of the shooting death of Oscar Grant.
"This case is not even four days cold. We're in the early stages of the investigation and we will do a very thorough job," he said.Several unanswered questions remained after BART officers went to Oakland's Fruitvale station to investigate reports of a supposed brawl on a train on which Grant was riding around 2 a.m. Thursday.
A friend of Grant's who was with him on the crowded Oakland train station platform at the time of the shooting said Grant pleaded with officers not to harm him. "Oscar yelled, 'You shot me! I got a four-year-old daughter,"' said Fernando Anicete. "Oscar was telling us to calm down and we did. We weren't looking for any trouble."

No Really...
(From Yahoo.com)
George Francis, the nation's oldest man, who lived through both world wars, man's first walk on the moon and the election of the first black president, has died. He was 112.
Francis died Saturday of congestive heart failure at a nursing home in Sacramento, his son, Anthony Francis, said Sunday.
"He lived four years in the 19th century, 100 years in the 20th century, and 8 years in the 21st century. We call him the man of three centuries," said the younger Francis, 81.

No. 498/2500

Look what I found while diggin @ Amoeba (the third time I've been there in 4 days)? While I was not born yet when these records where first released (I was born in late in the 80s, 1988), I know these records through my parents, old MTV/VH1 Specials, and old school radio. This shit is not only dope, but comedy as well (check Phonte's outro on the cover of the Ah-Ha classic "Take On Me," LOL!!!).
If you didn't know already, Zo! is a BEAST on the production board. As I told Tay myself when Key and I interviewed him and Nicolay for Leave It All Behind, the chemistry between him and Zo! just clicks and equals fresh music. If you are lucky enough to find a copy of this... DON'T SLEEP!!! For one, because it's dope, and two, because it's a collector's item. A must for all you LB/Foreign Exchange fans.
And on that note... I'm out.
