As we're on the theme today of duo's reuniting, here is Kweli and Hi-Tek A.K.A Reflection Eternal, performing the CLASSIC (and I have to cap the word because thats what this song is) track of Train of Thought, The Blast, at the NYC club Rehab. Alright, the joints from More or Less From Eardrum, Hi-Teknology Vol. 2, and Time from Vol. 3. Has been a great apptizer, not we want the album!!! Last thing I heard, in an interview on Splitkicker Radio with Tek And Kweli a couple months back, was that the album will be out sometime this year.

And on that note... I'm out.

Quote Of The Day: Chris Rock To Rolling Stone On The State Of Hip-Hop
Chris Rock: Music kind of sucks. Nobody's into being a musician.
Everybody's getting their mogul on. You've been so infiltrated by this corporate mentality that all the time you'd spend getting great songs together, you're busy doing nine other things that have nothing to do with art. You know how shitty Stevie Wonder's songs would have been if he had to run a fuckin' clothing company and a cologne line?
RollingStone: Plenty of rappers say, "I'm not a rapper, I'm a businessman."
Chris Rock: That's why rap sucks, for the most part. Not all rap, but as an art form it's just not at its best moment. Sammy the Bull would have made a shitty album. And I don't really have a desire to hear Warren Buffett's album - or the new CD by Paul Allen. That's what everybody's aspiring to be.We live in a weird time.
No one knows who's smart - we just know who makes money. "Hey, somebody invented Viagra! We don't know their name, but we know Pfizer, because they make the money." That guy made a pill that keeps your dick hard, and nobody knows who the fuck he is. The pharmaceutical companies are like fuckin' record companies. There's literally the Bo Diddley of medicine walking around, not getting his royalties. He signed all his fucking pill publishing away.
LMAO!!! Another classic "food for thought" Chris Rock quote to add to the book.
And on that note... I'm Out.

Every producer has his or her favorite tracks that they like to play when need of inspiration. Just a little something to get the brain going. This is one of mine. I love how the bass on this song sounds in my car. If you don't have this album, you need it! Feel The Blast ya'll, Happy Saturday.
(At the beginnng of the video)Revolver Ocelot? Any Metal Gear Soild fans here?
The "Negro Please" Quote Of The Day:
"Let's raise the stakes, if Kanye West sells more records than 50 Cent on September 11, I'll no longer [perform] music. I'll write music and work with my other artists, but I won't put out any more solo albums."
-50 Cent
Just because of that, I'm buying two copies of "Graduation"
And on that note... I'm out.
